I sat there.
Where I always sit.
Keeping to myself.
When something felt,
As it never does.
Simply out of place.

I stared there.
Where I always glare.
Looking at this place.
I felt raindrops,
From the high tops.
Trees bowing out of place.

I heard You.
Whisper to Yourself.
That something has finally changed.
I wanted so badly,
To shout my agreement;
That some thing’s out of place.

I realized.
When You looked at me.
I’d never seen You quite that way.
Dazzled as I might, as You may;
I fell in love with You,
My heart now in it’s place.

  1. I really enjoyed this. The raindrops and trees bowing reminded me of reading Robert Frost for the first time
