Frustrated and tired,
She just wanted to cut.
She let the tears fall out,
As she let her eyes shut.

She thrashed her hands down,
And down to the floor.
She cried and she whimpered,
Her body felt sore.

She sat up and cried out,
She let out her voice.
Dear God would you take me,
And take from me this choice?

As she slowly calmed down,
She released some old fears.
As she started to settle,
She shed a few tears.

Finally she wiped her eyes clear,
She considered a smile.
It wasn’t too long,
Before she’d cry another while.

Pin-pricks,
And tiny tricks…
Long talks,
And longer walks…
She cried her best for you.
One day,
Some way…
Looking down,
Without a frown…
She’ll let you see what’s true.
